IIS organized a Fan Club Parade in support of the forthcoming ‘FIFA World Cup, Qatar 2022’. Around 1500 students from various classes participated in the parade. The young football fans throng to the school sports ground enthusiastically, wearing their favorite team’s Jerseys, and holding flags, banners and placards. The number of fans of the Qatari team surpassed that of all other teams. The supporters of the teams like Argentina, Portugal, Brazil, France, Germany, Spain, etc. marched chanting slogans in support of their favourite team.
Principal Mr. Shaik Shamim Saheb, Heads of Sections, Heads of Departments, Physical Education teachers and other teaching and non-teaching staff attended the event.
SAFETY AWARENESS PROGRAMME
‘STAY SAFE’ awareness programme was conducted in the Junior Section and Girl’s section on Thursday,15-09-2022 for grades 1 to 7 to create awareness on the safety measures to be followed while commuting between school and home. Grade from class 1 to 7 attended the ‘Stay Safe’ awareness program on Sunday,18-09-2022. Students of classes 6 ,7 and 8 Shriya Patil ,Anam Manzoor,Joyal Ashwani,Malak Khalid and Inaya sheik presented a skit on safety measures. The skit was directed by Ms Padmaja Oruganti. Mr.Shaikh Shamim Saheb ,Principal addressed the assembly and interacted with the students, asking them how they would respond if they find themselves in a difficult situation. He stressed the need for children to follow safety measures on school buses. The students were eager to come up with what they would do. The principal, HM Dr.Nazima Bi Girl’s section, and AHM Ms Khatija TC from the Girl’s section shared a few tips to remember and practice for their safety and that of their fellow students.
