Ideal Indian School Chess Team excelled in the inter-school Chess Championship organized by Birla Public School recently. The IIS team won the U-19 girls’ category and secured third position in the U-17 and U-19 boys’ categories. The team finished as the overall second runner-up in the championship. Mr. Pramod and Mrs. Suman Panwar were in charge of the team.
The principal, staff and students of Ideal Indian School congratulated the Chess team on their achievement.
TEACHER’S DAY CELEBRATION IN GIRLS SECTION IIS
Teachers’ Day 2022 was celebrated in the Girls’ Section with great festivity. The senior students of grade XII organized a beautiful event with an array of exciting dance performances, melodious musical performances and a variety of games for their teachers. The teachers were given chocolates and flower badges upon entry as a token of appreciation. The students had set a decorated a platform for the event on the first floor to enjoy the day. All the teachers as well as the heads of section were present at the eventTo begin the event, the prayer in Arabic was done by Shaikha Sumayya of class XII-E and Hiba Ahmed of class XII-E translated the verse to English. The program was jointly hosted by Saniya Bharde and Yusra Obaid of class XII-E.
As the Teachers’ Day is commemorated every year to celebrate and appreciate the work and effort put forth by the teachers for their students, a speech was delivered by Sneha Mathew, Head Prefect, highlighting the importance as well as appreciating the efforts done by the teachers for their students, that materialize as immense success for students, solely because of the dedication of their teachers.
