EARTH DAY CELEBRATION 2023
Every year World Earth Day is celebrated on 22 nd April across the globe to
raise awareness about the importance of environment in our lives. The
theme of Earth Day 2023 is INVEST IN OUR PLANET.
Earth Day 2023 was celebrated at Ideal Indian School, Junior Section on 17-
04-2023, Monday. The students enthusiastically participated in various
activities to commemorate our mother Earth.
The Earth Day activities were conducted in Classes 1 and 2 in the first and
second periods. Class 1 students did colouring activity and Class 2 students
made a paper crown and labelled it with a thoughtful Earth Day slogan.
Class 3 students took out a procession march holding placards to promote
planting trees and conserving natural resources.
Janvi Jawahar of class 4 delivered a speech before the students on the need
to invest in our planet and preserve our planet for generations to come. With
an aim to spread awareness among the students, a skit was presented by
students of Class 4.
Mr. Shaik Shamim Saheb- Principal, Mr Azam Khan-Vice Principal and Mrs.
Shyla Jose -AHM joined the celebration and applauded the participants and
teachers for their work emphasizing the importance of the day.
Finally the students took a pledge to preserve and conserve their self
sustaining planet.
