IIS CELEBRATED WOMEN’S DAY: Ideal Indian School celebrated International Women’s Day on 8th March 2023 in honour of all the women around the globe and to recognize the services of women who are a part of the Ideal family.Dr. Hassan Kunhi M. P., President of IIS was the Chief Guest and Ms. Priya Bhedi, Mrs. India One in a Million Winner Classic – 2022, Winner of Mrs.India Universe Quarantine Queen,2020 graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour. The program began by invoking the blessings of the Almighty. Dr. Ehteshamuddin recited verses from the Holy Quran. Ms. Tanu Madhvi welcomed the gathering.Mr. Shaikh Shamim Saheb, Principal, IIS presented a bouquet of flower blossoms to the Chief Guest Dr. Hassan Kunhi and the Guest of Honour Ms. Priya Bhedi was presented a bouquet and a memento as a symbol of gratitude and appreciation.
In his keynote address, Dr. Hassan Kunhi M. P. emphasized the role played by women in our society and highlighted the theme of the day, “Embrace equality”. Principal, Mr. Shaikh Shamim Saheb recognized the importance of women and motivated them to take up challenges and embrace equality in all areas of life. Ms. Priya Bhedi enlightened the audience about her journey of success and spoke about the key points to become a successful woman in society.
The function featured mesmerizing cultural programmes by the teachers of the junior, Girls’ and Boys’ Sections. Ms. Priya Bhedi crowned the winners for the pick of the day contest in various categories. Various fun-filled games were organized for the teachers. The principal along with the Guest of Honour presented the prizes to the winners.

The women’s day celebration at Ideal Indian School witnessed active participation by all teachers and it concluded on a note of an inclusive future for all. The programme was compered by Ms. Padmaja Oruganti and Ms. Sharon Soans. Ms Soumya Saravanan proposed the vote of thanks to the dignitaries and to the teaching support for their extended support in making the event a grand success.
