VISIT BY SCOUTS & GUIDES DELEGATES IN NEW RECRUITER TRAINING PROGRAMME:

Newly recruited Scouts and Guides from Ideal Indian School actively participated in the ‘Basic Training Program’ meticulously organized by the school. This event coincided with the visit of esteemed delegates from the ‘Qatar Scouts & Guides Association.’

On this occasion, Mr. Ahmed Khamis B Al-Yousef (Scout Activities Consultant), Ms. Muna Jumah Al-Mansouri (1st Scout Activities Expert), and Ms. Paramjeet Bhullar (Scouts & Guides Coordinator for Expatriate Schools) paid a visit to Ideal Indian School. The program commenced with a dignified ‘Guard of Honour’ extended to the Scouts & Guides dignitaries and the school’s Principal, Mr. Shaik Shamim Saheb.

The ceremony gained momentum as Head Scout Bhavith Babu ceremoniously raised the Qatar National Flag, accompanied by the inspiring strains of the ‘Qatar National Anthem.’ The formal proceedings began with a prayer by Scout Mishal Mustafa. Guide Akshaya Jayaprakash extended a warm welcome to the guests, the Principal, and all the attending Scouts & Guides. The formal function was hosted by Guide Riti Milan Doshi, who also provided a comprehensive overview of the training program.

Further enriching the event, Guide Venika Anil delivered an insightful presentation on the Scouting Movement, covering its history, principles, laws, promises, values, and motto. To conclude the program, Head Scout Bhavith Babu extended a gracious vote of thanks.

The training sessions for the new recruits were thoughtfully divided into five distinct stations. At each station, Scouts and Guides received training in a range of vital life skills activities, including Types of Knots and their practical applications, Scout Uniforms and scarves, Camp Setup, Campfire skills, and First Aid.

Following the training session, the Scouts & Guides delegates convened for a meeting with the school Principal and the Scouts & Guides Leaders. During this meeting, they shared highly positive feedback and expressed deep appreciation for the school’s dedicated efforts in organizing such an effective training program for Scouts & Guides. Additionally, they actively planned for forthcoming Scouts & Guides events. A total of 64 newly recruited Scouts & Guides, along with their senior counterparts, attended this enriching training program. The coordination of the Training Program was skillfully overseen by Mr. Vijayant Thapa (Scout Master) and Ms. Suman Panwar (Guides Leader) from Ideal Indian School
