IIS LAUNCHED IT CLUB FOR DIGITAL INNOVATION

Ideal Indian School recently inaugurated its IT Club, marking the beginning of a new era in technological innovation and underscoring the school’s dedication to providing students with a state-of-the-art learning environment. Dr. Adnan Abu-Dayya, the Chief Guest and Executive Director at Qatar Mobility Innovations Centre (QMIC), inaugurated the club by unveiling its logo. Principal Mr. Shaik Shamim Saheb, Heads of Sections, and Heads of various departments attended the function.

Speaking on the occasion, Principal Mr. Shaik Shamim Saheb emphasized the school’s commitment in preparing students for the challenges and opportunities presented by the digital age. In his address, Chief Guest Dr. Adnan Abu urged the students, as future leaders and innovators, to embrace transformative technology and utilize their skills to make a positive impact on their community, society, and the global stage. He expressed his hope that the Ideal IT Club would serve as a launchpad, providing knowledge, skills, and aspirations to empower students as active contributors to realizing Qatar’s digital vision, both within and beyond Qatar.

The office bearers of the club were officially invested with badges on the occasion, presented by the Chief Guest and the Principal. The office bearers of the IT Club are Akshay Keerthi (President-Boys Section) Mirza Jaffer (Secretary-Boys Section)  Mohd. Farzee (Editor -Boys’ Section), Heba Benny (President -Girls Section), Najla (Secretary –Girls’ Section) and Mourine Mohd (Editor-Girls Section).

Earlier, the Club conducted competitions in Poster Making, Video Editing, and Logo Design, and the winners were awarded trophies and certificates on the occasion.

Najla of class XI welcomed the gathering and Heba Benny of class XII proposed the vote of thanks. Akshay Keerthi, the cultural secretary outlined the aims and objectives of the club. Muhammed Arsh Syed from class XI and Farah Naaz from class XII hosted the program. Mr. Sajith, Head of the Department of Computer Science Coordinated the function.
