Ideal Indian School organised Merit Day 2022 recently to honour the students for their outstanding performance in CBSE examinations. 180 students of classes X and XII of the 2019-2022 batches were honoured on the occasion. Gold and Silver medals were awarded to the school rank holders and individual subject toppers in classes 10 and 12 examinations.
The School President Dr. Hassan Kunhi M.P graced the occasion as Chief Guest and Dr. Sirish Suddhodhan, Family Physician, Qatar Red Crescent was the guest of honour. Speaking on the occasion Dr. Hassan Kunhi thanked the parents for entrusting their children with the school and extending their constant support for all its endeavours. Dr. Sirish Suddhodhan exhorted the students to break out of the cocoon of their comfort zone and excel in their life with hard work, courage and dedication.
Principal Mr. Shaik Shamim Saheb presented the Annual Report. He said that the school has set standards and goals in the area of academics, sports, events, discipline, leadership, management systems and more. The school staff completing their 10, 15 and 20 years of dedicated services to the school were also felicitated on the occasion. A large number of students and parents turned out to witness the evening. The day featured a spectacular cultural extravaganza in which students from all sections mesmerised the audience with their enthralling stage show.
Head Boy Ibrahim Ahmed welcomed the gathering and Head Girl Hanin Shamsheer proposed vote of thanks. Ms. Shyla Jose, the Asst. headmistress, Junior Section compered the formal function and Ebenezer, Cultural Secretary, Boys’ Section and Anjali, Cultural Secretary, Girls’ Section anchored the cultural show. Ms. Khatija T.C, AHM, Girls’ Section coordinated the programme.
