HERITAGE & CULTURAL CLUB

IIS INAUGURATED HERITAGE & CULTURAL CLUB: Ideal Indian School recently launched its Heritage and Cultural Club by inaugurating an exhibition showcasing India and Qatar’s rich and diverse cultural heritage. The Chief Patron of the Club Mr. Shaikh Shamim Saheb, Principal of IIS inaugurated the club by cutting the ribbon and opening the exhibition.

The idea of setting up the heritage and cultural club is to develop an understanding and respect in students towards the diversity in cultures. It also aims to create awareness about heritage conservation and inspire us to appreciate and preserve our cultural and natural heritage.

The students of grades 5 to 8 actively participated in the exhibition and showed their keen interest in the conservation of heritage and cultures of the world. Students displayed a variety of Artworks, fabulous models of forts, monuments, and historical places.

Speaking on the occasion, Principal Mr. Shaik Shamim Saheb emphasized the school’s commitment to provide education that helps students to explore & understand the diverse culture & history of not only India but the world and endeavors to establish strong and powerful ties with the past.

Leyasri Senthilkumar welcomed the gathering. The program was concluded by a vote of thanks by Haifa Faizal who expressed gratitude towards all the members and teachers who worked tirelessly to make this event successful.
