Members of the Astronomy Club of Ideal Indian School participated in an event to observe the recently discovered comet called Green Comet C/2022 E3 ZTF on 1st Feb 2023 .The bright-green comet makes a close approach to Earth for the first time in 50,000 years. Apart from the Green Comet, the students also observed Jupiter, Saturn and the Moon. There were 25 boys along with 5 teachers were attended the programme and the students had a different experience in late night observation trip. The event was organised in an observation centre at Al Kharrara, located in outskirt of Al Wakra.
