INTER HOUSE CHESS TOURNAMENT 2023-24
Ideal Indian school organized an inter house chess tournament for girls’ section on 9th and 10th of May 2023, and featured students from all the four houses. The students were divided into the sub junior, junior, senior and super senior category. The competition was fierce, and all the students showed great skill and determination as they faced off against one another. After several hours of intense play, the winning house from every category were finally announced.
In the sub junior category, the first position was backed by the yellow house, the runner ups were the green house, the second runner ups were the red house, and the fourth position went to the blue house. In the junior category, the first position was secured by the blue house, second position was backed by the red house, the third and fourth position went to green and yellow house respectively. In the senior category, red house were declared as the winners, blue and yellow house emerged as the first and second runner ups respectively and the green house took the fourth position. In the super senior category, red house once again took home the first place, followed by the yellow and green house as second and third winners respectively, and the fourth place went to the blue house.
Overall, the tournament was a great success, with students learning valuable lessons about sportsmanship, teamwork, and strategy. The tournament provided a platform for young chess players to showcase their skills and passion for the game, and it was a great opportunity for students to bond with their peers from different houses.
