“Right to foods for a better life and a better future”
The World food Day 2024 theme is “Right to foods for a better life and a better future”. Every
year on October 16 the world marks World Food Day to raise awareness about hunger around the
world and the need for collective action to help solve the problem. It is being marked in a year
with multiple global challenges, including conflicts, climate change, rising prices. All of this is
affecting the global food security.
In connection with “The World Food Day”, on 16 th October Ideal Indian School Boys’ section
conducted various activities based on the themes “Cooking without fire, Healthy food Vs Junk
food and Qatar traditional food or salad dressing. More than 100 students participated and
created awareness about the value of quality food by exhibiting various types of food. Students
made different types of food and thus spread awareness how good food brings the people
together. Ideal Indian School Principal Mr. Sheikh Shamim Saheb and all Heads of sections
visited the exhibition and motivated the students by reminding the importance of healthy and
nutritious food.
