On September 8th, 2024, Ideal Indian School Boys’ section carried out the following activities on “No Bag Day‟ for students of class 5. The “No Bag Day” concept was an initiative aimed at improving focus, promoting physical relief, lightening the burden, and reducing stress in schools. Students were allowed to attend classes without carrying their textbooks and notebooks.
As a part of the “No Bag Day‟ Being World Literacy day, English teachers did the activity was Poster making based on Education. Students took part with great enthusiasm and interest. Some of them couldn’t complete the activity during the given time. Even though it was a different experience for the students.
During the Mathematics period, Students were actively involved in the factorization activity, it helps them to understand the concept better. Throughout the activity students were engaged and actively participated.
The science teachers conducted an activity Students would be able to understand the pathway of nerve impulse from sensory organs to brain and the back to muscles or glands from the game by moving in and out, right and left. This activity was highly engaging and provided a physical representation of the abstract concept of nervous impulses.
In the social science period, teachers conducted an activity on ‘To draw Earth’s Rotation and Revolution in a chart paper. Students were actively participating in the activity. Everyone completed the activity within given the time. It helped them to understand the concept more clear.
The teachers of “Second languages” conducted different activities. In the Malayalam class, the students participated actively participated ‘Action Song ‘Students were actively participating in song, student’s improve Hand- eye coordination and develop love for music’s. They enjoyed very much.
In the Urdu class, the activity was making Kite. It helps participants develop creativity and design skills while understanding how design effects.
In the Arabic class, Arab students to make imperative verb by the imperfect verb, while Non-Arab class, Students to make chart for forbidden and allowed. Students were actively participants in the activity. It helped them to understand the concept more clearly.
In the Quran Subject Etiquettes of reciting the Quran and learning the rules as well as Dua . Students learnt the manners, etiquette and some important conditions for reciting the holy Quran & memorizing Duas.
Students of Tamil language did the activity “Speech about nature or Freedom Fighter. Children gave their speech with actions, which helps to improve their language and also able to know about freedom fighters.
World Literacy day, Hindi subject activity was play role based on Education. Students took part with great enthusiasm and more interest.
During the moral science period, write and Sing “National song”. Students were actively participants in national song.
The Qatar history teacher, to prepare an album on the topic – Geographical features of the State of Qatar. Students actively participants to make album this activity helped to gain a deeper understanding of Qatar’s geographical features, including its landforms, wild plants, and animals.
In the IT period, students were created an Algorithm and Flowchart. This activity helped an understanding different options & applying format, making an effective and attractive file in MS word.
During the “Art period”, students engaged activities on making poster on ‘Importance of education’ Students enthusiastically participated and came up with interesting slogans and pictures. The physical education teacher conducted s activities like table tennis and demonstrated some physical exercises.
On the whole, the teachers of class 5, had a refreshing and educational experience. Students were incredibly involved and enthusiastically engaged in each activity. Proper planning, communication and adherence to guidelines were essential for its success. By implementing such initiatives, Ideal Indian School promotes a healthier and more balanced approach to education while reducing the physical and mental burden on students.
