Language Day was celebrated in the Junior Section on 15 th of September
2022 (Thursday) to inculcate a sense of pride and highlight the
importance of various languages among the students.
The program started with a prayer followed by a welcome speech.
The faculties of the Junior section had planned meticulously to celebrate the
day. Our Principal Mr. Shaik Shamim Saheb presided over the meeting
and addressed the gathering, encouraging, and motivating the students.
Children speaking different mother tongues like Arabic, Hindi,
Malayalam, Urdu, Tamil, French, and Kannada presented various cultural
programs such as skits, group songs, speech, mono act,s etc. On this
occasion our Vice Principal (Junior Section) Mr. Azam Khan and AHM Ms.
Shyla Jose was present. Our Vice Principal emphasized the importance
of love for one’s Mother Tongue and insisted that the students learn and
use the language as effectively as English. He also explained the History
of Indian languages. He applauded the participants and language
coordinators for their dedication to making ‘Language Day’ a
successful and memorable one.
The program concluded by singing the Qatar National Anthem
followed by the Indian National Anthem.
