Ideal Indian School proudly celebrated Qatar National Day by honoring the nation’s rich cultural heritage and traditions. To mark this special occasion, the Junior Section organized a series of class-wise activities that engaged students in meaningful ways. The events encouraged active participation, allowing students to immerse themselves in the spirit of Qatar National Day and celebrate the country’s heritage as follows:
Class I: Colour the provided picture.
Class II: Join the dots and colour the provided picture.
Class III: Colour the beautiful mosaic design of MIA by number.
Class IV: Draw and colour any one of the following: Qatar’s famous monuments, buildings, important places, or traditional items.
In addition to the class activities, students participated in various events held during the morning assembly, which began with a speech on Qatar National Day by a 4th standard student. This was followed by an Arabic dance performed by 2nd standard girls, praising Qatar with the use of a daf. A fashion show showcased Qatari cultural symbols, while students of grades 3 & 4 performed an Arabic song highlighting the beauty of Qatar. The celebrations continued with a traditional Qatari dance, Ardha, presented by grade 4 boys, and concluded with a vibrant procession where students proudly displayed traditional Qatari attire.
The Headmaster of the Junior Section, Mr. Sajid Shamim, addressed the gathering and spoke about the importance of Qatar National Day. Section Coordinator, Ms. Jaseena Abdulla, along with other faculty members, ensured the seamless execution of the event.
The students’ enthusiasm and creative contributions greatly enriched the celebrations, reflecting their pride and patriotism on this significant day. Ideal Indian School remains dedicated to nurturing these values in students by consistently organizing such meaningful events.
