Causes Of World War II: The major causes of World War II were numerous. They include the impact of the Treaty of Versailles following WWI, the worldwide economic depression, failure of appeasement, the rise of militarism in Germany and Japan, and the failure of the League of Nations.

Adolf Hitler Of Germany, Benito Mussolini Of Italy and Emperor Hirohito Of Japan Formed the Axis Powers, The Allied Powers consisted of Britain,Former USSR and The United States Of America.

World War II Started in 1939 After the invasion of Poland by Germany, The Allies of Poland Britain and France Declared war on Germany, But never formally launched any attacks after the rapid invasion and occupation of Poland (Called Blitzkrieg) by Germany and The former USSR (Now Russia).

Russia signed a treaty with Germany called the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact of Non-Aggression.

The French during the pre-war era started building a Military line called the Maginot Line near its borders with Germany, But it failed to build the line around a forest region called the Ardennes.

But during the War Germany Flanked France through the Areas of Ardennes by the Infamous Panzer Divisions led by General Maximilian Freiherr von Weichs

The Rapid Invasion did not allow the French troops to prepare and the French were easily occupied. Paris was taken By Germany on June 14, 1940.

The British Sent the British Expeditionary Force to France before the taking of France

But the French and British Soldiers were encircled in the famous encirclement of Dunkirk.

After That there were Several bombings of British cities By the Luftwaffe some were shot down by RAF fighters.

The involvement of the United States Of America started when German U-Boats started sinking Merchant Ships and Military vessels of the USA

USA Declared War on the Axis After The Infamous Bombing of Pearl Harbour By Japanese Aircraft Carriers and Aircraft.

The War ended After Germany Declared War on the USSR the Normandy Landings and the battle of Stalingrad inflicted Heavy losses on Germany and the war ended after the encirclement of Berlin in 1945.
