Qatar National Day[Boys’Section]

Ideal Indian School celebrated Qatar National Day in a grand and vibrant manner, featuring a variety of activities that highlighted its deep-rooted connection to this great nation.

In his keynote address, Principal Mr. Shaik Shamim Saheb extended heartfelt congratulations to the rulers and the people of Qatar on the occasion of National Day. He commended the vision of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamed Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar and Father Emir His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and the Qatar Government which helped to build a modern and advanced state of Qatar to meet the aspirations and hopes of the people with further development, progress and prosperity. He added that National Day celebrations unite the school in fostering Qatari pride and national identity among students.

The event featured an array of colorful performances by students from the Kindergarten, Junior, Girls’ and Boys’ sections, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Qatar. The program began with a prayer by Zaid Khalid, followed by the National Anthem of Qatar performed by the School Choir. Speeches expressing love for Qatar were delivered in Arabic by Khalid Zoban and in English by Venika Anil. The Assistant Cultural Secretary of the Boys’ Section, Ihsan Mohammed, welcomed the gathering, while the Assistant Cultural Secretary of the Girls’ Section, Nakshatra, proposed the vote of thanks. The event was hosted by Aseel Elfatih and Rishi Balan.

A highlight of the celebration was a grand procession within the school premises, where hundreds of students participated with enthusiasm. Donning traditional Qatari attire, they showcased their love, respect, and solidarity for their host country in a vibrant display of unity and cultural pride.
