The Qatar National Identity Exhibition was successfully conducted with the aim of promoting the culture and heritage of Qatar. The event focused on strengthening national identity and pride, educating the community on social and cultural transformation, supporting cultural dialogues and integration, and highlighting Qatar’s rich traditions and national values. The exhibition also celebrated the remarkable achievements of the nation with a theme “Al Aseel”.
The event began with the arrival of Mr. Ahmed Khamis B. Al Yusuf and Ms. Muna Jumah Al Mansouri, the Heads of Sections Dr.Nazima Bi Shaikh, Vice principal Girls Section and Ms. Khatija T.C Headmistress and HOD of Social Science Mr.Pushparajan , followed by the Scouts.
A prayer was beautifully performed by Ms.Saja Amina ( XI-G)
An informative Arabic speech was delivered by Ms.Khadija Walied (IX-H), followed by a short welcome address by Aysha Nahan (XI –H).
Programme Highlights:
– Display of Qatari Food: A variety of traditional Qatari dishes were showcased, offering students a taste of the country’s culinary heritage.
– Traditional Costume of Qatar: Students and teachers presented traditional attire, reflecting the cultural identity and historical roots of Qatari society.
– Safeguarding of Heritage Sites: Models and posters highlighted the importance of preserving Qatar’s heritage sites for future generations.
– Showcase of Traditional Art and Craft: Local arts and crafts were displayed, emphasizing the creativity and craftsmanship of Qatari culture.
The Qatar National identity programme successfully turned a concept into a living experience, and the event will be remembered as one of the highlights of the academic year.
Principal Mr. Shaik Shamim Saheb appreciated and congratulated the organizers and participants, commending their efforts in fostering respect for Qatar’s culture, heritage and national identity among students.
