Plant a Shrub Today for a Greener Tomorrow
The Junior Section of Ideal Indian School, organized a Plantation
Drive on 23rd October 2025 as part of Sustainability Week (19th–23rd
October 2025). The event was conducted under the banner of the Ideal
Eco Club – Junior Section to promote environmental awareness and
instill a sense of responsibility toward nature among young learners.
Students from Classes I to IV actively participated in the drive by
bringing big shrubs from home and planting them within the school
premises. Each shrub carried a name tag with the student’s name,
symbolizing their commitment to care for the plant and watch it grow.
The activity aimed to help students understand the importance of
greenery, reduce carbon footprint, and encourage hands-on learning
about sustainability. Children enthusiastically took part, showing great
excitement and pride as they contributed to making their school campus
greener and more beautiful.
Through this initiative, the students learned that small actions—like
planting and nurturing a shrub—can make a big difference in protecting
our planet.
The Plantation Drive was a resounding success, fostering
teamwork, care for nature, and the joy of contributing to a cleaner,
greener future.
