The Children’s Day celebration was held with great enthusiasm and joy in
our school. The day began with a special assembly conducted for Class IV in
the A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Auditorium, Junior Section. The program started
with the holy words of Allah beautifully recited by Fathima Haiza (Class 4F),
followed by a warm Welcome Address by Ms. Vinola Rani.
After the welcome address, Ammar Bin Rashid (Class 4D) delivered a
meaningful speech on the importance of Children’s Day, highlighting that
the day is celebrated to honour Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, lovingly called
Chacha Nehru, who believed that children are the nation’s greatest treasure
and the real strength of a country. He reminded everyone that Chacha
Nehru’s love and affection for children made him a beloved figure and that
the day is dedicated to celebrating childhood, happiness, and innocence.
Principal, Mr. Shaikh Shamim Saheb delivered an inspiring speech,
motivating the students and reminding them to be disciplined, kind, and
responsible. The celebration continued with a teachers’ group song filling
the auditorium with joy and energy.
A group dance by the students added colour and liveliness to the
programme, spreading smiles across the audience. One of the highlights of
the assembly was the teachers’ skit titled “The Smart Child, Not the Smart
Phone”, which carried a valuable message about using technology wisely
and truly inspired everyone. This was followed by a teachers’ group dance,
which brought cheer and excitement to the event.
Adding to the celebration, Ms. Surabi and Ms. Geetha T.R. gave a special
dance performance, which was thoroughly enjoyed by both students and
teachers. Their graceful moves and energetic performance received huge
applause from the audience.
At the same time, exciting game stalls were arranged for the little ones.
Each floor featured a total of nine stalls, offering a variety of fun-filled
activities. Students from every class eagerly visited all the stalls and
participated enthusiastically, spreading joy among their peers and
teachers. The children were thrilled and thoroughly enjoyed the different
games and activities at each stall.
The stalls had creative and engaging names such as Cup-o-Fun, Hatch the
Eggs, Paper Plane Pilots, Sticky Tag Puzzle, Twirly Noodle Stall, and many
more, each of it offering a unique challenge and experience. Cheerful music,
colourful decorations, and happy laughter filled the corridors as the
children moved from one game to another. Teachers in charge of the stalls
motivated the little ones and rewarded the winners with exciting gifts. It
was truly a delightful sight to watch the young children play, explore, and
create joyful memories throughout the day. The stalls also drew the
attention of the Heads of the Section and teachers, who enthusiastically
joined in and played the games alongside the students.
Later in the day, a special assembly was conducted for Grades 1, 2, and 3.
The programme was compered by Ms. Nisha Raj. She also delivered the
Vote of Thanks, expressing heartfelt gratitude to all the teachers and
students for their enthusiastic participation and support.
The Children’s Day celebration was indeed a memorable and delightful
event, reflecting the love, care, and dedication of the teachers toward their
students. It was a day filled with happiness, laughter, and lasting memories
for everyone.
