Ideal Indian School Student Shines at the Asian Handball Championship

Ideal Indian School proudly celebrates the outstanding achievement of Master Sahal Faisal, student of Class XII-C, who represented the Qatar National Handball Team at the 1st Asian Men’s U-17 Handball Championship 2025 held in Amman, Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

In a thrilling display of talent and determination, the Qatar National Team advanced to the semifinals after registering victories against China (38–34), Saudi Arabia (27–23), Jordan (32–25), and Kuwait (26–22). Sahal’s consistent performance and commitment contributed significantly to the team’s success.

With this historic performance, Sahal has now qualified to represent Qatar in the U-17 Handball World Cup, scheduled to be held in Morocco, October 2025. This marks a proud moment not only for his family and school and also for the entire student community in the school.

The Principal, Mr. Shaik Shamim Saheb, the Heads of Sections, and the Department of Physical Education extended their heartfelt congratulations to Sahal for bringing glory to the school and the nation. His achievement stands as an inspiration for all young aspiring players.
