The International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) is the world’s most prestigious math competition for high school students, held annually since 1959. It brings together top young mathematicians from over 100 countries to solve challenging problems in algebra, geometry, number theory, and combinatorics over two days. Each participant solves six problems, with a maximum score of 42 points. To qualify, participants typically go through national-level olympiad.
