

As part of the celebration of Qatar National Identity, Ideal Indian School organized a special activity on 27th May 2025 during the Qatar History period for students of Classes 7 and 8. The objective of the activity was to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of Qatar’s rich cultural heritage and national landmarks.
Students of Class 7 participated in a creative collage-making activity focused on Qatar’s famous landmarks. They enthusiastically prepared colorful and informative collages showcasing prominent landmarks such as the Museum of Islamic Art, Souq Waqif, Katara Cultural Village, Aspire Tower, and The Pearl- Qatar. The activity not only enhanced students’ artistic skills but also demened their knowledge of the architectural and historical significance of these landmarks.
Class 8 – Collage on Qatari Culture
Students of Class 8 created collages highlighting various aspects of Qatari culture, including traditional clothing, food, music, art, sports, and festivals. The activity provided them with an opportunity to explore and represent Qatar’s cultural identity through images and information.
Many students depicted elements like falconry, dhow boats, the majlis setting, and traditional Qatari attire, showcasing their understanding and appreciation for Qatar’s heritage. The activity was conducted smoothly under the guidance of the Social Science department teachers. The winners from both classes were appreciated and awarded for their efforts. Students displayed creativity, teamwork, and enthusiasm in their presentations.

This activity successfully promoted awareness about Qatar’s national identity among students. It instilled pride and respect for the host country and provided a platform for students to express their understanding through artistic expression.
