IS Holds campaign for Mental Health Awareness : Ideal Indian School recently organized a Mental Health Awareness campaign titled “Salute Mentale: Grades with Grace. The campaign was led by Dr. Veena Davis, Ph.D. in Social Work — a mental health expert and trainer. It mainly focused on the 10th Grade students helping them manage exam-related stress and develop a healthier approach toward academic challenges
.

Dr. Veena began the session with a series of simple yet effective mental exercises that helped calm and focus the students’ minds. Through interactive activities and engaging moral stories, she encouraged students to cultivate self-confidence, self-acceptance, and a positive attitude. Dr. Veena’s concept of the “Five Magic M’s.” helped us understand stress, its causes, and practical strategies for managing it. She encouraged us to create our own study plans for the remaining 106 days, which can help us sleep peacefully, fully prepared, on the eve of the exams. Her session left a lasting impression, reminding everyone that mental well-being is essential for academic success.

The campaign concluded on a positive note, leaving students motivated and better equipped to face the upcoming examinations with confidence and composure. The school’s initiative served as a timely reminder of the importance of nurturing not just intellectual growth, but emotional strength and mental balance as well.

The session was highly motivational and insightful, especially for students appearing for the upcoming Class X Board Examinations. It not only helped us understand the importance of mental fitness but also gave us practical ways to manage stress effectively. Overall, the event encouraged every student to adopt a healthy mindset, stay positive, and approach exams with confidence and calmness.
