PLANETARIUM SHOW[G Sec]

The Ideal Indian School organized an enriching Interactive Planetarium Show in collaboration with Astral Domes International from 14^th to 25^th September 2025. The event was held within the school campus, offering students a unique opportunity to explore the mysteries of the universe in an engaging and interactive way.

Students of Girls’ Section attended the shows on 17^th, 18^th, 21^st and 24^th September 2025. A total of 572 students from Grade 5 to Grade 10 participated enthusiastically. To appeal to different age groups, varied shows were screened, ensuring that each student could connect with and enjoy the show.

The programs included fascinating topics such as the birth of a star, the evolution of human life, the existence of dinosaurs on Earth, and captivating journeys through space and astronomy. Students were also introduced to a glimpse into the life in the International Space Station, which broadened their imagination and curiosity about space exploration. Adding a thrilling touch, the roller-coaster ride show became a crowd favorite, filling the dome with excitement and joy.

The presentation of the show made the event truly remarkable. Astronomy, space and science were brought to life through an immersive 360⁰ dome experience enhanced with 4D effects, transporting students beyond classroom into a world of discovery. Each session lasted about 30 minutes, perfectly blending education with entertainment. Ms. Nishima Raashid was made the in-charge of the show for Girls’ Section.

Overall, the Planetarium Show was a wonderful learning experience for students. It offered an exciting and memorable journey through science, space and astronomy.
