IIS TEAM EXCELS AT POLEMIC CHALLENGE 2025: Rabeea Abdul Khadar of XII F and Leonel Mathew of XI A represented Ideal Indian School in the Polemic Challenge 2025, an Inter School Debate Competition conducted at Shantinikethan Indian School on 22nd May 2025 on the topic ‘Are we Building walls where we should be planting bridges?’
Rabeea Abdul Khadar (XII F) bagged the Second Runner-Up- the Best Rebuttal in the competition. 12 Indian schools participated in the competition. Each speaker was given three minutes to speak after which he/she had to participate in the rebuttal session wherein he/she had to refute and respond to arguments in the opponent’s speech. The competition inspired students to understand the need for upholding peace and international co-operation in bringing progress and underscoring the role of education of heart in addressing global challenges. Mr. Shijo Joseph and Ms. Safeera trained the students.
