WORLD FOOD DAY – KG SECTION

The KG Section celebrated World Food Day on 16th October. The celebration aimed to create awareness among our little learners about the importance of food, healthy eating habits, and sharing.

As part of the program, from each class only two children brought food from home. These food items were grouped under four categories representing the main meals of the day:
• Breakfast
• Lunch
• Dinner
• Desserts

All the food brought was arranged together in one room where the children visited, observed and learned about the variety of dishes. Teachers also engaged them in short discussions on valuing food and avoiding wastage.

Children were engaged in a activity by using vegetables and fruits which provided a joyful and meaningful experience for them.
