IDEAL ALUMNA INSPIRES STUDENTS THROUGH GUEST TALK : The CUQ Guest Talk, organised in collaboration with INJAZ Qatar, was successfully held at Ideal Indian School, featuring three distinguished guests from Ulster University: Ms. Malak Almahayni, alumna of Ideal Indian School and currently affiliated with CUQ Ulster University; Ms. Lorna, Manager of Student Affairs; and Ms. Nour, Business Development Officer and Recruitment Lead.
The session was attended by the school’s leadership, including Principal Mr. Shaik Shamim Saheb, Vice Principal of the Boys’ Section Mr. Azam Khan, Vice Principal of the Girls’ Section Dr. Nazima Bi Shaik, Headmistress of the Girls’ Section Ms. Khatija TC and the Assistant Headmistress of the Boys’ Section Ms. Lipsy Sabu.
Ms. Malak Almahayni delivered an insightful talk titled “From Student to Startup Mindset,” reflecting on how Ideal Indian School played a pivotal role in laying the foundation for her personal and academic growth. She spoke about her internship experiences and offered practical advice on how students can approach internships meaningfully, making the most of the opportunities they bring. She also gave a brief overview of the summer internship programs offered by Ulster University and encouraged students to participate in them for valuable exposure.
Ms. Lorna provided a detailed overview of the various academic and professional programs available at Ulster University, offering students a broader understanding of global education opportunities.
As a token of appreciation, Ms. Malak Almahayni, along with Ms. Lorna and Ms. Nour, were presented with a memento on behalf of Ideal Indian School and the Principal.
The gathering was warmly welcomed by Head Girl Miss. Venika Anil, and the vote of thanks was delivered by Head Boy Master Ihsan Mohamed Shameer. The program was skillfully compered by Miss. Ayat of Class XII I.
